Town Hall Meeting

Women Employed is leading the coalition rallying behind the Healthy Workplace Act, a proposed statewide paid sick days standard. The coalition includes dozens of advocacy groups from across the state that are raising public awareness about paid sick days and campaigning for this new workplace standard. Activities include distributing postcards to constituents with a message to legislators in order to show public demand for paid sick days. In addition, the coalition has held town hall meetings around the state to allow individuals to share their stories about the impact of not having paid sick days.
